Position Specifics: The selected candidate will be performing work supporting civil engineering support equipment (CESE) for the United States Navy. The candidate will serve as the primary point of contact (POC) for problem resolution and liaison with Government. This individual ensures contract deliverables are accurately and timely submitted and is given the authority to make decisions relating to Expeditionary Equipment Readiness Services Support program. The selected candidate is responsible for repairs, troubleshooting and material assessment of all CRF CESE equipment in accordance with OEM specifications make and model to include but not limited to:

• Ford Power Stroke Engine

• Chevy Duramax Engine

• Cummins Diesel Engines

• John Deere Engines

• Kubota Engines

• Mercedes Engines

• Caterpillar Diesel Engine

• Duramax Turbo Diesel Engine

• Allison Transmissions

• 4L80E Transmission

• 15KW and 45KW Generators

• IGET HVAC System

• Hydraulic Systems for 55 ton Lowboy Trailers

• 15K and 30K Forklift Hydraulic Systems

Qualified candidates must meet the following requirements:

• Must have at least 3 consecutive years of experience repairing and troubleshooting several of the above listed CRF CESE equipment categories.

• Ability to identify complex problems and solutions relating to the CESE level of effort.

• Ability to coordinate program requirements, subcontractors, and employees.

• Ability to provide direction to subordinates.

• Possess an active Secret Security Clearance.

• Be able to meet overseas medical deployment qualifications.

Leads technical teams for installations and repairs, within or across technical trades specialty. Ability to manage, oversee, schedule and assign tasks to one or more multiple jobs. Installs, operates, maintains, repairs and modifies equipment. Performs a variety of maintenance and technical support on products such as equipment, integrated systems and subsystems, and software at customer and/or field locations. Analyzes and evaluates products and related performance. Troubleshoots and diagnoses malfunctions to eliminate problem in minimum time. Installs, upgrades and removes products ensuring coordinative engineering field change. Maintains effective customer communications and relations. May provide onsite training of customer support personnel.

Must be able to lift, carry and transport heavy equipment and boxes. The exact weight requirements will be determined by the specific job, but no less than 30 lbs. Able to work on and climb ladders, work in extreme temperature environments, aboard ships, in shipyards, under industrial conditions and in confined spaces. Able to perform other duties as required which may involve high heat, humidity, noise and dirty conditions, working aloft or over the sides of vessels. May ride ships at sea for extended periods. May require wearing a respirator. Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States.
